Meet Your Coach

Marquita Garmon is the founder of Kept Women, a nonprofit organization dedicated to destroying the negative stereotypes of women through coaching, workshops, and small groups. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Human Services with a concentration in Christian ministry both from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Marquita also holds certifications and training in Life Coaching (through the National Coaching Society), Lay Counseling (through Word of Life Counseling), and Spiritual Midwifery (through Women of Deliverance Midwife Training). She works in the Christian sector of higher education in enrollment and affiliate instruction. Marquita is the author of "Psalms of A Kept Woman: Memoir and Womanhood Workbook," and "Grace for Your Race," available in paperback and ebook, respectively, via Amazon kindle and GooglePlay Books. She and her husband are empty nesters with homes in North and South Carolina.  She enjoys journaling, gardening, and crafting candles and worship instruments. Psalms of One Kept Woman is an outgrowth of, Kept Women Inc, a 501(c)(3) organization established in 2013. Our mission is to destroy the negative stereotypes of women in the family patterns and within the community. Through coaching, small groups, and workshops, Kept Women works to demonstrate, and replicate the TRUE standard of womanhood. Proving that as Kept Women, It is Possible, We do Exist, and we Multiply. ~One Kept Woman
